Nursing Aides provide intimate, hands-on nursing care to patients and residents. A nurse aide will typically interact with patients more than any other healthcare professional, providing them assistance with things such as: bathing, dressing, taking vital signs, and re-positioning them.
For compassionate and caring individuals looking to get into the medical field, becoming a nurse aide is a rewarding and logical path. Since the training program takes as little as 4 weeks to complete it allows for a quick entrance into the medical field, and allows each trainee to leave with valuable experience that can be used if expanding into other healthcare professions, such as Nursing.
Renaissance Healthcare Training Program is a 90-hour program regulated and approved by the Arkansas Department of Human Services – Office of Long Term Care.
At Renaissance Healthcare this course will teach you to recognize cardiac arrest, get emergency care on the way quickly, and help a person until more advanced care arrives to take over. The course also covers adult choking and naloxone.
CPR courses teaches adult and child CPR and AED use, infant CPR, and how to relieve choking in adults, children, and infants. This course teaches skills with the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback, and guide the students’ learning of skills.
This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements.

As a nurse, we have the opportunity to heal the heart, mind, soul and body of our patients, their families and ourselves. They may not remember your name but they will never forget the way you made them feel.
